Even attorneys have trouble getting public documents from Sevier County. Mr. Monciers’ office has had to make repeated requests for documents which should be readily available. Interestingly enough, as of December 23, 2009, Mr. Moncier still has not received all document… boy! Does our county have something to hide. See documents below. |

LONG BEFORE HERBERT S. MONCIER knew of the plight of taxpayers & residents of Sevier County as viewed by a small group of concerned citizens - organized, eventually, as a corporation chartered as a non-profit with goals to reform the local government of Sevier County - he was dealing, unknown to these citizens, with his own legal woes; yet, he took a look at the situation and undertook (in his spare time) to assist these citizens with an undertaking that has encompassed issues placed before the Tennessee State Court, Tennessee Appellate Court and now to the Tennessee Supreme Court - as well as two cases now on the trial docket for U. S. District Court Eastern District. In support of Herbert S. Moncier we proudly show (below) the hurdle he has been facing far long before he knew of Public Spirited Citizens of Sevier County, Inc. We take the position that this is 'a great injustice to a good man', and, we publicly show our support and good wishes for a favorable ruling (in his REVERSAL OF PRIOR RULING and RETRIAL OF CRIMINAL CONTEMPT before another judge) a disinterested judge designated and from whom a ruling is expected ''during the month of August, 2010," per Judge Mayes. Simultaneous to this proposition which has been on-going since 2007, and faced as well during this period of representation (2008 - 2010) of concerned citizens seeking redress through the court for wrongs of public officials and employees (amidst depositions ongoing at the time in December 2009 when a panel found he should be suspended from law practice) he fights these disciplinary charges as a licensed lawyer in the State Court of Tennessee brought by Board of Professional Responsibility - ALL expected to be resolved in the near future. GOOD LUCK HERBERT S. MONCIER WE'RE IN YOUR COURT!!! |
